SONJA HUEBNER

Hi my name is Sonja. I come from a little place south of Nürnberg in Germany. I grew up on a farm and spent most of my days outdoors enjoying nature and animals. Somehow I was already fascinated by Africa and already as a little child I wanted to go to Africa on Safari. My first trip to South Africa was in 2005 and it immediately felt like coming home. Thereafter I travelled for several years all over Africa until I decided to leave my office job behind to become a tour guide and stay permanently. And I really love every second of it. Just to share my knowledge and love for this amazing continent, the wide open spaces, the different natural sceneries, the wildlife, the different cultures and warmth of the people. I joined Sunway Safaris because I like to go to different countries and because the group sizes are small. This leads to a very personal and tailored guiding experience for everyone.
