MIKE MANDA

My name is Mike Manda. I was born on the 5th of February 1977 in the remote northern region district of Malawi called Mzimba, in the warm heart of Africa. After finishing school l decided to move to South Africa. I then worked as a gardener for a man who inspired me to have a passion for nature. This was because of his experience in African adventures and being a CEO of a well known travel company. After obtaining my driver's license l have worked for several well established companies as a delivery driver before acquiring a driving job at Sunway Safaris. Working for Sunway has revived my love for nature. I have worked on different tour routes, seen many different terrains and tourist destinations which has taught me a lot about the industry. In addition to all this experience, l now have a Fgasa level 1 Certificate in guiding. Working with Sunway has provided a great opportunity to share the passion and knowledge for nature and cultures l have with people I meet.
