Christopher Zulu was born in the Chinotimba township of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe in 1984. He did his Primary and Secondary schooling in this town, the tourism capital of Zimbabwe in 2001. He says "I studied Guiding in the year of 2006 as I am passionate about the cultures and folklore of Africa. I am also passionate about the wildlife and history of Africa together, with the co-values of her people in general."
Not only was Chris studying guiding, but he also made a living as a musician who performed to the tourists around Vic Falls. I completed my guide training in 2012 in Harare under the Department of Parks & Wildlife, Tourism, Environment and Natural resources. I was then offered a position taking Township & Village tours in around Vic Falls as soon as I obtained my guiding licence. Here, I got to share the culture and traditional way of life so that the visitors would have a clear inside view of people living in this lively town. I started the overlanding work in July 2013 as a trip leader or Guide. I worked within the restaurants in Vic Falls as a cook as well as guiding for other safari companies there. I am currently working for Sunway Safaris and really enjoying being able to see so many places on my travels...
Zimbabwe Botswana Game Tracker " Dear Sunway Safaris team, I would like to thank for an excellent holiday I had with Sunway Safaris. I joined accomodated tour ZIMBABWE & BOTSWANA GAME TRACKER in October 2018 with an international group of people. Everything was well organized and prepared. Amazing program with good balance between activities and free time to relax. A big thanks belongs to our excellent guides Lloyd and Chris. They were very professional, experienced and knowledgeable keeping whole group in good moode and making safari experience unique for each of us. They always kept us informed what is going to be in next day, what we can expect and what is needed to prepare. They provided us with all information about the nature, animals, country, culture… and always ready to answer any question. All the provided meals were just amazing." - Eva, Czech Republic
NAMIBIA & ZAMBEZI NBa15 "Our tour guides are Zandre and Chris. Both of them have good problem solving and emergency handling abilities. The car's belt snapped when we were on the road, they reacted quickly to contact to the company and solved the problem. In addition, they are flexible to adjust the diet to our taste. We had good communication to understand different cultures. Their abilities to explain vividly and clearly, their friendly manners and enthusiasm, I really appreciated it. I spent so many unforgettable days with them that I was loath to part with them. Zandre has excellent driving skill; even on muddy or bumpy roads, he drove steady. He also is a good cooker. I enjoyed meals during the tour, especially the dinners. And he is witty, friendly and informal. Chris is amusing and easy going. His humor adds salt to our conversations. It was breezy and pleasant to be with him. He prepared the traditional African dinner for us I especially like Etosha National Park in our trip, 3 days is not enough for me. I hope can spend more days on safari.” Ann Tseng, Taiwan
NAMIBIA & ZAMBEZI NBa15 "Herewith we would like you to thank you for the beautiful trip we did last weeks with your organisation. It very well organised through a country we will never forget anymore. Unless it was sometime a bit long and bumpy traveling in the bus caused by the roads, which were not all in a good condition, we had the time of our life and the team spirit was great. With the two enthusiasts guides, Chris and Sufiso, they made the tour complete! They were the engines to succeed this trip and they did it very well and they were very involved and take good care of all of us. Very positive! Thank you for organising this trip for us. We will remember you!” Ans & Roel Knape, Holland
